Commitment, talent, wine, top ratings, South Africa, Swartland, Sadie!

YET ANOTHER accolade for Swartland vigneron Eben Sadie on receiving the 2017 Winemakers’ Winemaker Award presented by The Institute of Masters of Wine and The Drinks Business publication in the UK is further affirmation of his talent and dedication. It also highlights one of the elite group of South Africa’s top wine producers who are proprietor, farmer and cellarmaster – all in one – at their place in the winelands, i.e. those who have impressed at every level, consistently so and for a considerable length of time, right up to the present.

Established in 1999 on the Paardeberg outside Malmesbury, Sadie has since been joined in the ‘Swartland Revolution’ by classy acts and standouts in their own right. But there’s a particularly special something about Columella, Palladius, Mev Kirsten, ‘T Voetpad, Kokerboom, Skurfberg… More please!
