Kleine Zalze Chenin always hits the spot

Kleine Zalze Cellar Selection Chenin Blanc 2011 - jpgI confess! Come lunchtime on a sunny day outdoors, you’ll often find a bottle of Kleine Zalze Chenin in our ice-bucket. Stylish fruit is what does it for me, I guess – and this isn’t their flagship I’m talking about, but the most affordable at around R30 a bottle. Sure there are finer wines, but better value-for-money?

And a quaffing red suitable for braai-food? I tink it ill bee a Smooth Red from Perdeberg for me today (usually under R30)… Nothing complicated, just simply delicious… And of course, she’s welcome to have some too!
